Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Design Manager to lead design input on flagship infrastructure projects in the UK. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, manage external consultants, and ensure buildable, compliant solutions from concept to delivery.

The role emphasises collaboration with clients and project managers across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical functions, with a focus on innovation, safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
• Experience leading design on multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept through delivery.
• Manage external design consultants and interfaces with contractors.
• Ensure designs are buildable, compliant and efficient.
• Collaborate with Clients, PMs, and specialists across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical domains.
