Job summary

WSP is seeking a skilled civil engineer to lead technical delivery across feasibility, concept design, planning, and construction phases for diverse projects in the UK & Ireland. You will apply expertise in drainage, SuDS, flood risk, highways, streetscape, earthworks and utilities, guiding multidisciplinary teams and engaging clients and authorities to secure approvals.

You will contribute to high-profile projects, coordinate with internal and external design teams, and ensure delivery on time

Qualifications

• Experience in highway design, drainage strategies and technical design.
• Knowledge of flood risk assessments and utility design within development projects.
• Ability to produce infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals and design calculations.
• Liaise with clients and authorities to obtain approvals and approvals processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical delivery across feasibility to construction.
• Provide multi-disciplinary project leadership and guidance to teams.
• Engage stakeholders and manage design teams internally and externally.
• Ensure projects meet budget, programme and quality targets.
