Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland seeks an experienced civil engineer to lead technical delivery across feasibility through construction. You will oversee drainage, flood risk, highways, earthworks and utilities work for diverse development projects, guiding teams and coordinating with clients and authorities.

The role emphasizes project leadership, collaboration with internal and external teams, ensuring schedules, budgets and quality targets are met and regulatory requirements are satisfied.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of highway design, drainage strategies and technical design, flood risk assessments and management, utility design and planning as well as a working knowledge of the development sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day technical delivery of civil engineering consultancy services across the project life-cycle.
• Provide project leadership as PM on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Mentor and guide junior staff; liaise with clients and design teams to secure approvals.
