Mott MacDonald is seeking Senior Civil Engineers in Southampton to join our Water Division. This role involves working on diverse projects, including water treatment and distribution, ensuring top-notch design submissions and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Civil Engineering degree, strong design experience, and excellent communication skills. This permanent, full-time position supports personal development in engineering design on key projects.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or relevant degree required.
• Chartered or near chartered status (ICE or equivalent).
• Experience in water and/or wastewater engineering.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Understanding and prioritizing health and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple UK and Ireland water companies.
• Prepare design submissions for compliance with contract requirements.
• Undertake studies and designs from preliminary to final.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders throughout projects.

Skills

Water and/or wastewater engineering design experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proactive approach

Understanding of health, safety, and environmental issues

Education

Civil Engineering degree or other relevant degree
