Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to work on major water and wastewater schemes from feasibility through to construction. You’ll shape civil design across lifecycle, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and CEng, with proven delivery of high-quality outputs. Opportunities span London and Reading, with extensive learning and development support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Chartership (CEng) with a relevant Institution is required.
• Experience delivering high-quality outputs to design, quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support and guidance for schemes, ensuring fit-for-purpose designs.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams across design to construction.
• Engage with clients, manage relationships, and support aims with a one-team approach.
• Manage interfaces and integrate civil design with other disciplines and docs.
• Act as technical checker and undertake reviews across projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and standard designs.
• Undertake site reviews to ensure buildability and integration with existing systems.
• Support development of the civil engineering team through mentoring.
