Mott MacDonald is expanding its Major Projects capability within the Water Consultancy Division and seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to contribute to nationally significant water infrastructure. You will lead front-end engineering from feasibility through outline design, working in a collaborative OneWater team to develop robust, consentable solutions.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer progressing towards chartered status with a relevant degree.
• Experience on major multi-disciplinary UK water projects.
• Civil engineering design and design assurance experience.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater standards.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front-end engineering from feasibility to outline design.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions.
• Support robust and consentable engineering solutions.
• Review and assure technical outputs for quality and buildability.
• Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Contribute to bids and work-winning activities.
• Promote technical excellence and innovation.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
