Job summary

A specialized children's care service in Kidderminster is looking for a dedicated Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker. About the Role:

We are recruiting a dedicated and experienced Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker to join a brand‑new childrens residential EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) service in Kidderminster. This is a key leadership role within the home, supporting the management team while delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed care to children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will lead shifts, act as a positive role model for the staff team and help create a safe, structured and nurturing environment that promotes stability, resilience and positive outcomes for children and young people.

Pay & Hours:
  • £14.95 per hour
  • £70 per sleep‑in
  • Flexible shift work including day, early, late and sleep‑in shifts
  • Temp‑to‑perm opportunity within a new service
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing direct care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and additional or complex needs
