Job summary

Immunocore is seeking a Senior Scientist I in Characterisation to advance biopharmaceutical analysis and develop robust characterisation methods for ImmTAX products. You will apply HPLC peptide mapping, MS, and glycosylation analyses to support drug substance and drug product characterization, identity testing, and stability studies.

You will coordinate testing, interpret data with cross-functional teams, and contribute to method development and lifecycle management in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Experience developing HPLC-based peptide mapping methods and mass spectrometric characterisation of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Experience of glycosylation analysis of recombinant proteins or antibodies.
• Independently coordinated extensive testing of protein biomolecules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and characterise biopharmaceuticals using HPLC peptide mapping and MS.
• Perform glycosylation analyses and PTM characterisation on proteins/antibodies.
• Support drug substance and drug product impurity characterisation and identification.
• Contribute to characterisation of process intermediates and product comparability studies.
• Lead and mentor colleagues, share findings, and present data to teams and partners.
• Document records accurately and maintain lab safety and compliance.
