Job summary

Places Leisure, part of Places for People, seeks a Programme Manager to deliver end-to-end complex business change across multiple sites. You will manage cross-functional workstreams, governance, risks, and benefits tracking while coordinating with senior leaders, partners and site teams.

This role requires regular travel to Leisure sites (2–3 days per week) and a focus on ensuring changes become routine operations with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex business change or transformation programmes.
• Proven experience delivering organisational change within a large, geographically dispersed or multi-site operational business.
• Experience creating integrated programme plans, governance arrangements, dependency maps, risk reporting and measurable benefits.
• Experience managing programme budgets, forecasting expenditure and linking delivery to operational, customer and financial outcomes.
• Experience leading matrix teams across roles, processes, systems and levels of digital capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex business change programmes across Places Leisure.
• Coordinate operaltional, technology, process and data workstreams with clear governance and accountability.
• Oversee adoption, early-life support and benefits tracking for business-as-usual operations.
• Manage risks, dependencies and budgets while ensuring changes are ready across locations.
• Travel to Leisure sites 2–3 days per week to oversee implementations.
