Job summary

Bupa Mindplace Cheltenham is seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. The role supports delivery of CBT via in-person, telephone, or video consultations from Mindplace Cheltenham, with a strong emphasis on assessments, formulations, and pathways of care.

The ideal candidate holds BABCP accreditation, a Post-Graduate CBT Diploma, and at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in high-intensity CBT, with optional EMDR training.

Qualifications

• Full Accreditation with BABCP.
• Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (BABCP accredited).
• At least 2 years' post-qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions.
• Training/accreditation in EMDR.
• Corporate experience and business understanding.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality CBT or brief interventions with strong outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for care plans.
• Determine appropriate care pathways through thorough assessments.
• Offer face-to-face, telephone or video sessions per client preference.
• Adhere to case management processes with Leads and therapy team.
• Manage sessional limits per Private Medical Insurance budgets.
• Provide signposting or referrals when required.
• Provide wellbeing support and coaching as needed.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and remote wellbeing presentations.
