Job summary

Your Education Supply Ltd in Dudley is recruiting a Team Leader / Deputy Manager to join a permanent care team. You will lead shifts, supervise staff, and manage incident responses for individuals with complex behavioural needs.

The role combines direct care with leadership responsibilities and a clear pathway toward Service Manager and Registered Manager levels. We offer a permanent contract with 36 or 48 hours per week, £16.00 per hour (£29,952–£39,936 per year), and a genuine leadership

Qualifications

• DMI / Dynamis trained candidates are strongly preferred.
• Candidates with PMVA or equivalent recognised physical intervention training may also be considered, subject to competency review.
• You must be confident recognising inappropriate physical intervention and capable of challenging or stopping unsafe practice where required.
• A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent would be desirable.
• A full UK driving licence is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff during shifts, coordinate staff deployment and oversee changing risks.
• Support staff supervision and competency assessments, identify training needs and contribute to PBS strategies.
• Lead responses during significant behavioural incidents and ensure de-escalation remains the primary response.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, independence and least restrictive practice across the team.
