Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Deputy Service Manager for our residential service near Langley, New Forest. The role includes 30 hours of direct care and 7.5 hours of administrative duties each week, with shifts from 7:30am to 9:30pm and every other weekend.

You will lead a dynamic team to enhance quality of life for residents. The ideal candidate will have care management experience, Level 3 Health & Social Care, and experience with autism, Down syndrome, epilepsy or physical disabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care management role and Level 3 Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of colleagues to help individuals gain more independence in daily life.
• Develop and implement person-centred support plans and conduct needs assessments.
• Recruit and induct new staff, complete supervisions and appraisals.
• Complete medication competencies and audits, attend multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day service management.
