Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead a residential service in Dover. You will manage a dedicated team, develop person-centred plans, and support people to gain greater independence in daily life.

You will perform care needs assessments, recruit and induct staff, supervise, handle medication competencies and audits, and participate in on-call duties. A Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification and autism-related experience are essential.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care management role.
Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
Experience working with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, and challenging behaviours.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

Lead a residential care team to deliver high-quality support.
Develop and implement person-centred support plans.
Conduct care needs assessments and supervise staff performance.
Recruit, induct and train new colleagues; complete supervisions and appraisals.
Oversee medication competencies and audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and produce reports for the Registered Manager.
