Cinnamon Care Collection’s Outram Fields in Bradway, Sheffield is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for day shifts. You will look after residential and dementia residents with a compassionate, team‑oriented approach.

We offer £14.56 per hour, full‑time hours including alternate weekend shifts, and a range of benefits. A NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) is preferred and training is provided to support career development. Join a top 20 care home group with recognition for best companies to work for.

Qualifications

• Hold NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and have a sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Two years’ experience with older people and those living with dementia; Senior Care Assistant experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Care for residential and dementia residents with a compassionate, person-centred approach.
• Act as a mentor to care assistants and provide supervision and guidance.
• Support the care team to maintain high standards of care and comply with regulations.

Outram Fields in Bradway, Sheffield is a beautiful care home providing 69 spacious ensuite bedrooms as well as 6 luxury suites. Our stunning home features luxurious lounges and dining rooms, an on-site café bar, a cinema and a professional hair and beauty salon and includes a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Care Assistants to be part of our care team looking after our residential and dementia residents.

Our team members must have a real passion for care and want to work as part of a close-knit team supporting each other, and wanting to promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times.

We are looking to recruit experienced Senior Carers who hold a NVQ level 3 (or equivalent qualification) and have a sound knowledge of care legislation including CQC Fundamental Standards. You will have supervisory experience, Medication administration experience (& relevant qualification) as well as being a supportive mentor to the care assistants. We also provide a comprehensive induction, support and training and encourage career development.

You will need 2 years’ previous experience gained from working with older people and people who experience dementia – previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant is desirable.
