The Ashton Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead and support the care team in delivering high quality, person-centred care to residents. You will oversee medication, monitor wellbeing and maintain accurate records, coordinating with families and healthcare professionals.

The role requires alternate weekend shifts and a compassionate approach. NVQ Level 2 is the minimum qualification, with Level 3 desirable or willingness to pursue Medication

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is the minimum requirement.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable or willingness to work towards it.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are expected.

Our private care home is situated in the beautiful town of Hinckley, close to the town centre. We specialise in Residential Care, Dementia Care, Nursing Care, Respite Care, and Palliative care for 72-residents. Senior Care Assistant Contract £13.71 per hour Contracted to 24-48 hours per week Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
