Job summary

Amberley Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, in Sale, offers Residential, Dementia and Respite care. We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide and support the team, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care for our residents and to help run shifts smoothly.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum) with Level 3 desirable or willingness to progress.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support the team in delivering safe, high quality, person-centred care.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised and delivered to a high standard.
• Oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to changes to ensure care remains safe and appropriate.

Job description

Our luxury care home is situated in the beautiful, historic town of Sale, offering Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 72-residents.

Senior Care Assistant Contract

• £13.71 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents.

You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard.

Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate.

You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.

We Are Looking For
