Pareto, a leading sustainable paper and packaging manufacturer, is looking for a high-calibre Business Development Manager to drive UK corrugated operations. Based UK-wide with regional travel, you will lead high-value opportunities and build strategic client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven B2B sales management experience in corrugated packaging.
• 2+ years managing National Accounts or multi-site packaging tenders.
• Strong understanding of P&L, margin management, and contract negotiations.
• Ability to navigate a matrix between plant operations, design engineers, and regional sales.
• Business/Marketing or technical diploma/degree or equivalent track record.

Responsabilités

• Pipeline Growth: Prospect, qualify, and secure high-value new business opportunities across target market sectors.
• Value-Added Selling: Collaborate with packaging development teams to create fit-for-purpose, circular packaging concepts.
• Contract Negotiations: Lead terms for major opportunities alongside executive commercial leadership.
• Commercial Rigour: Define budgets, track conversion rates, and protect margins using structured commercial processes.
• Market Intelligence: Benchmark competitors and packaging trends to inform strategy.
