Job summary

SER Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in packaging products. The role focuses on new business, consultative selling, and managing a £2,000,000 portfolio from Wales with remote options.

You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and collaborate with design to create new packaging ideas for UK customers and potential expansion into new markets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years minimum experience in packaging products.
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• Experience in sales and a technical understanding of packaging products.
• Familiarity with Welsh regions.
• Willing to achieve £300,000 - £400,000+ targets.

Responsibilities

• Regularly prospecting new customers and using a solution/consultative approach.
• New business development & lead generation.
• £2,000,000 portfolio to manage, nurture and regularly up-sell.
• Contributing to sales budget, revenue monitoring, and margin improvement.
• Continue to look at market trends and growth areas.
• Working closely with the design team to come up with new ideas for products.
• Engaging with customers in the UK and possibly expanding into new markets.

Position: Business Development Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

Location: Wales - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly prospecting new customers and using a solution/consultative approach.
• New business development & lead generation

Requirements:

• 2+ years minimum experience in packaging products such as, heavy duty & conventional corrugate. However, packaging specialists from outside of the industry will also be considered.
• Must be happy to achieve £300,000 - £400,000 plus targets.
