Palmer McCarthy Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across security, parking management and stewarding services for iconic venues and events.

This field-based role covers Hertfordshire, Liverpool and Birmingham, offering a base salary up to £70,000 plus a £5,000 car allowance and commission, with a proven track record in outsourced or contracted services.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development and winning new business.
• Experience selling outsourced or contracted services.
• Strong senior-level relationship-building with decision-makers.
• Experience with longer, consultative sales cycles.
• Bid, tender and commercial proposal experience.
• Ability to win across security, parking and stewarding sectors.
• Track record of selling into major venues and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy.
• Identify opportunities across events, venues, security, parking and stewarding.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers.
• Lead the full sales cycle through to contract award.
• Develop opportunities through networking, referrals and industry relationships.
• Lead and contribute to bids and tenders.
• Work with operational and commercial colleagues to develop solutions.
• Support and provide direction to a small bid and sales support function.
