Job summary

Palmer McCarthy is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to own the end-to-end sales process, focusing on security, parking management and stewarding services. This field-based role operates from regional offices in Hertfordshire, Birmingham or Liverpool, with a base salary up to £70,000 plus a £5,000 car allowance and commission.

You will develop opportunities, build relationships with senior decision-makers and lead bids to win contracts across iconic venues and major events in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development and new business sales.
• Experience selling contracted or outsourced services.
• Strong senior-level relationship-building skills.
• Experience with longer, consultative sales cycles.
• Bid, tender and commercial proposal experience.
• Credibility to sell into major venues and events.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full business development and sales process, from identifying opportunities to shaping solutions, leading bids and winning contracts.
• Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy across events, venues, security, parking and stewarding.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers and lead the full sales cycle through to contract award.
• Develop opportunities through networking, referrals and industry relationships, supported by testimonials and references.
