Severn Trent is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape the technology platforms that support essential services for millions of customers. This senior, hands-on role sits in our Technology function, across complex change programmes spanning enterprise systems, data platforms and digital solutions.

You’ll be based at the Severn Trent Centre Head Office in Coventry, working in a dedicated team on delivering real business value.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst in a technology-led environment.
• Proven track record on complex systems, integrations, or large transformation programmes.
• Strong experience in Agile or hybrid delivery at scale.
• Confident engaging senior stakeholders and influencing without authority.
• Ability to switch between strategic thinking and detailed delivery.
• Pragmatic, outcomes-focused mindset for improving how technology enables the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across multi-workstream technology programmes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, product owners and delivery leads to shape end-to-end solutions.
• Own the analysis approach, setting standards across the BA community.
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to define problems, outcomes and options.
• Translate strategic objectives and regulatory requirements into delivery artefacts.
• Define current and future-state processes, systems and data flows.
• Support prioritisation and decision-making ensuring value is optimised.
• Mentor and coach junior BAs and uplift capability.
