Severn Trent Water is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to shape technology platforms supporting essential services for millions of customers. The role is senior, hands-on, and embedded in our Technology function across enterprise systems, OT, data platforms, and customer-facing digital solutions.

You’ll operate at strategic and delivery levels, defining direction, influencing decisions, and ensuring investments deliver real business value. Coventry-based, 37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst within a technology-led environment.
• Proven track record on complex systems, integrations, or large transformation programmes.
• Strong experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across complex, multi-workstream technology programmes.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product owners to shape end-to-end solutions.
• Own the analysis approach, setting standards and best practices across the BA community.
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to define problems and options.
• Translate strategic objectives and regulatory needs into delivery artefacts.
• Define and communicate current and future state processes, systems and data flows.
• Support prioritisation, trade-offs, and value optimisation.
• Mentor and coach Business Analysts to uplift capability.
