Job summary

Yorkshire Water is looking for an IT Lead Business Analyst to join the Project team in this pivotal role shaping large-scale transformation programmes. Based in Bradford with future Leeds relocation, the role offers hybrid working (1-2 days in the office) and the chance to partner with senior leaders to deliver customer-focused change.

You will lead requirements management, user-centred design, and governance across programmes, ensuring delivery of measurable business benefits and high-quality

Qualifications

• Extensive experience embedding business analysis standards across teams or functions.
• Proven track record influencing senior stakeholders on complex requirements.
• Experience leading BA activities within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Expertise in requirements elicitation, prioritisation, governance, lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing user-centred design practices including user research and testing.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to advise senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex BA activities to shape strategic change and deliver organisational value.
• Conduct holistic analysis to identify opportunities, risks, dependencies and impacts.
• Define and continuously improve BA standards, tools and best practices.
• Lead scoping, elicitation, analysis, prioritisation and lifecycle management of requirements for large programmes.
• Ensure requirements align with customer needs, regulatory obligations and business outcomes.
• Champion user-centred design across change initiatives and ensure accessibility and usability.
