J T in the United Kingdom is seeking a surveying professional to manage a diverse caseload of surveying instructions, diagnose defects, prepare costed schedules of works, and oversee repair projects.

Experience in insurance claims is valuable but not essential; the role welcomes private client surveying work, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to innovation and a market-leading service and work product.

Qualifications

• Surveying principles knowledge with some insurance claims exposure is desirable.
• MRICS/FRICS or MCIOB qualification is preferred or you are working towards it.
• Understanding of CDM regulations is required.
• Experience managing JCT contracts, variations and payments is essential.
• Strong written and oral communication with negotiation skills.
• Proficient use of surveying software and case management systems.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate high technical quality, defect diagnosis, and service delivery across all instructions.
• Administer JCT contracts including variations, valuations, damages, and milestones.
• Provide excellent customer service with clear communication to stakeholders.
• Share knowledge, support teammates, and contribute to process improvements.
• Promote Treating Customers Fairly principles and RICS ethical standards.
• Adhere to SLAs and KPIs in daily operations.
