Job summary

J T is seeking a capable Surveyor to manage a diverse caseload of surveying services and defect diagnosis surveys for insurers, loss adjusters, policyholders, and private clients in the UK.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, compliant services under JCT contracts, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Insurance exposure is valued but not essential; candidates should demonstrate autonomy and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Surveying knowledge with interest in insurance or private client surveying
• MRICS/FRICS or MCIOB qualification, or working towards professional status
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and construction contracts (JCT)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high technical quality and reliable service delivery across all instructions.
• Administer JCT contracts, manage variations, valuations, and expert milestones.
• Provide clear, proactive communication with loss adjusters, insurers, policyholders and private clients.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to process improvements as a team.
• Uphold TCF principles and RICS ethical standards in all activities.
