J T in Warrington is seeking a surveying professional to manage a diverse caseload of instructions, including defect diagnosis surveys, costed schedules of works, and overseeing repair projects.

Experience in insurance claims is valuable but not essential; the role emphasises innovation, market-leading service, and strong communication, underpinned by ethical standards and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong surveying knowledge; insurance claims experience is valuable but not essential.
• MRICS/FRICS or MCIOB qualification, or actively working towards a professional qualification.
• Excellent knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Hands-on experience with JCT contracts, variations, payment certificates, and dispute resolution.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills; report-writing ability.
• High IT literacy with surveying software and case management systems.
• Personal and professional integrity; ethical standards.
• Ability to work autonomously under pressure and meet tight deadlines; collaborative teamwork.
• Flexible approach to shifting caseload priorities.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate high technical quality and defect diagnosis across all instructions.
• Administer JCT contracts, including variations, valuation payments, liquidated damages, and milestones.
• Provide exceptional customer service to loss adjusters, insurers, policyholders, and private clients.
• Share knowledge and contribute to process improvements as part of the team.
• Promote Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and RICS ethics at all times.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs in all assignments.
