We are looking for an enthusiastic, visionary Senior Biomedical Scientist (Band 7) to join our dynamic and thriving team of 9 BMSs and 4 AHCSs in our Immunology laboratory. The Immunology service is based at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and serves the Kent and Medway Pathology Network (KMPN). We are UKAS ISO 15189; 2022 accredited as are all Pathology disciplines within the organisation. Services provided include autoimmune serology, allergy, protein electrophoresis, specific protein measurement and cryoprotein investigations. The laboratory works closely with our consultant Immunologist supporting allergy and immunology clinics in addition to planning the delivery and development of laboratory services. Immunology has a strong training ethos linked to career development and progression.

KMPN: Kent and Medway Pathology Network is a formal partnership of seven laboratories across three pathology services in four acute Trusts.
