Job summary

THG Beauty in Manchester is seeking a Senior Analyst - Commercial (Beauty) to own analytical work across category and brand performance, helping buying and trading teams make better commercial decisions. You will build analyses, report KPIs, and identify opportunities and risks through data.

You will write and maintain SQL queries, collaborate with the Engineering team on the data model, and develop dashboards and reports that communicate performance clearly to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in commercial analytics
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong storytelling skills
• Proven ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Own analytical projects across commercial performance - predominantly on category and brand analytics while also supporting pricing, promotional effectiveness, subscriptions performance
• Build analysis that helps the business understand what drives commercial performance
• Develop and maintain commercial KPI reporting
• Identify commercial opportunities and risks through data
• Write and maintain SQL queries and analytical scripts
• Work with the Engineering team to understand the commercial data model
• Build dashboards and reports that communicate commercial performance clearly
• Present findings to the Commercial Lead and Beauty commercial stakeholders
• Manage ad hoc analytical requests from buying and trading teams
