Job summary

THG, a global ecommerce group, is seeking a Commercial FP&A Manager in Manchester to become the financial modelling expert for our Beauty & Nutrition brands. You will lead forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning, partnering with stakeholders to translate drivers into robust forecasts, while driving continuous improvement across processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 3 years of post-qualified experience.
• Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance or a highly analytical finance role.
• Advanced financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex models from first principles.
• Strong forecasting, planning and budgeting experience.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking and problem solving capability.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insight.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large and complex datasets.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, budgeting and long range planning across Beauty & Nutrition.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate commercial and operational drivers into robust financial forecasts.
• Continuously improve forecasting methodologies, models and planning processes.
• Deliver insight on business performance, identifying key risks, opportunities and value drivers.
• Provide deep dive analysis to answer complex commercial questions and support decision making.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Act as the financial modelling subject matter expert across Beauty & Nutrition.
• Build sophisticated models, scenario analyses and investment appraisals to support strategic decisions.
• Establish modelling best practice and raise analytical capability across the wider Finance team.
• Own workforce, warehouse and operational cost forecasting across Beauty & Nutrition.
• Translate volume, capacity and workforce assumptions into robust financial forecasts.
• Work closely with operational teams to improve forecast accuracy and understanding of key cost drivers.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Commercial, Operations, HR and Data teams.
• Provide constructive challenge and support stakeholders in making informed decisions.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and professional development.
