Job summary

THG is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Beauty Subscriptions division in Manchester. You will own end-to-end analytics across subscriptions, trading, category and brand performance, building dashboards and reporting to empower commercial decisions.

You will write SQL queries, collaborate with the Engineering team on data models, and present insights to the Beauty commercial stakeholders. The role includes ownership of ad hoc requests and delivering high-quality analysis.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial analytics, trading analytics, category management or similar
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong storytelling skills
• Proven ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership

Responsibilities

Why be a Senior Analyst - Beauty Subscriptions at THG?

As Senior Analyst in the Beauty Commercial team, you will own analytical work that helps THG's Beauty division understand and improve its commercial performance. Working predominantly on subscriptions while also supporting trading, category, brand performance, you will build the analysis and insight that enables commercial teams to make better decisions.

As a Senior Analyst - Beauty Subscriptions, you will:

Commercial Analytics

• Own analytical projects across commercial performance of Subscriptions - trading, category and brand analytics, promotional effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain commercial KPI reporting
• Identify commercial opportunities and risks through data

Technical Delivery

• Write and maintain SQL queries and analytical scripts
• Work with the Engineering team to understand the commercial data model
• Build dashboards and reports that communicate commercial performance clearly

Stakeholder Engagement

• Present findings to the Commercial Lead and Beauty commercial stakeholders
• Manage ad hoc analytical requests from buying and trading teams
• Contribute to the broader commercial analytics team - sharing knowledge and maintaining high standards

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

Essential

• Experience (typically 3+ years) in commercial analytics, trading analytics, category management or similar
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong storytelling skills
• Proven ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership

Desirable

• Experience in beauty, lifestyle, fashion or e-commerce environments
• Exposure to subscription analytics - subscriber acquisition, churn, retention analysis, LTV
• Experience with Tableau, Looker or equivalent BI tooling
