Job summary

Enspec Power Ltd. seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to expand its presence in industrial and critical infrastructure markets. You will own major six-figure to multi-million-pound opportunities, developing target sectors and strategic accounts across consultancy, engineered products and site services.

You will engage senior decision-makers, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and drive complex proposals through to contract award, while maintaining a robust CRM and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in technical sales or consultancy within electrical engineering, power systems, industrial infrastructure or related market.
• Proven experience closing six-figure opportunities, ideally including multi-million‑pound contracts.
• Experience selling complex technical services or integrated solutions to industrial clients.
• Strong commercial awareness with tenders, proposals and negotiations.
• Sufficient technical understanding to engage with specialists and identify client requirements.
• Confident engaging with senior technical and commercial decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, relationship-management, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with ownership of significant opportunities.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and industry events.
• Established relationships in Enspec’s target sectors (industrial/critical infra).

Responsibilities

• Develop target sectors and strategic accounts across industrial markets.
• Generate and qualify new business opportunities through direct engagement and market intelligence.
• Own major opportunities through full cycle from engagement to contract award and handover.
• Lead complex proposals, tenders and client presentations.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate forecasts; report on activity and revenue.
• Represent Enspec at client meetings, exhibitions and industry events.
