M-KOPA is hiring a permanent Senior Backend Engineer to join our Asset Sales group. You will build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure, with an event-driven architecture at scale.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery from idea through production, shaping AI-native practices within a fully remote, globally distributed team. The role emphasizes production ownership, observability, and collaboration across time zones, with a strong focus on financial inclusion and scalable backend

Qualifikationen

• Strong grasp of C# and .NET development.
• Experience with event-driven systems (Azure Service Bus or similar).
• Microservices architecture experience, preferably on Azure and Kubernetes.
• Experience using observability tooling (Grafana, Application Insights).
• Comfort using AI tools as part of daily engineering workflow.
• DevOps mindset including on-call/production ownership.
• Proven ability to collaborate in distributed teams across time zones.
• Continuous learning mindset and openness to feedback.
