Job summary

M-KOPA Ltd is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Asset Sales group. You’ll build distributed C#/.NET microservices on Azure, embracing an AI-native engineering approach while working remotely with teams across the UK, Europe and Africa.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, contribute to scale, and shape how AI is used in our engineering craft. The role is fully remote with a strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong grasp of C# and .NET development
• Experience with event-driven systems (Azure Service Bus or similar)
• Microservices architecture experience on Azure/Kubernetes
• Experience using observability tools (Grafana, App Insights) to understand production behavior
• Comfort using AI tools as part of daily engineering workflow
• DevOps culture mindset including on-call/production ownership
• Proven ability to collaborate in distributed teams across time zones
• Willingness for continuous learning and feedback
