Job summary

Amey is seeking a Senior Architect to lead a local advisory team, producing high-quality architectural deliverables for a range of nuclear and complex infrastructure projects across the UK. The role includes people management and on-site engagement as needed.

You will drive designs, ensure compliance with safety and CDM standards, manage budgets, and contribute to bids, while maintaining strong client relationships across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with ARB.
• Chartered Membership of RIBA.
• Experience leading a small to medium architectural team on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to produce technically sound architectural deliverables.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and documentation to meet quality, cost and programme targets.
• Manage budgets and commercial aspects for projects within the portfolio.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers; attend progress meetings and respond to queries.
• Contribute to bids and business development activities.
• Work on site as required, including out-of-hours work and people management.
