Job summary

Amey is seeking a Senior Architect to lead an acoustic multidisciplinary ADVISORY team, producing technically sound architectural deliverables for schemes across the UK. You will manage a small to medium locally based team, oversee designs, calculations and documentation, and ensure delivery within quality, cost and programme constraints.

Experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments is highly valued, with NSQEP recognition encouraged.

Qualifications

• Registered as an Architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
• Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
• Experience delivering architectural schemes with strong focus on safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team producing technically sound architectural deliverables meeting client requirements, quality, cost and programme targets.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and documentation for scheme deliverables.
• Manage budgets and costs, ensuring commercial success of projects.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers, attend progress meetings and respond to queries.
• Contribute to bids and business development activity.
• Work on-site as required, including out-of-hours work and potential people management responsibilities.
