Job summary

Amey is seeking a Senior Architect to join our Advisory team in the UK. The role leads a small to medium architectural team, producing technically sound deliverables for schemes that meet quality, cost and programme requirements.

You will oversee designs, calculations, drawings and documentation, manage budgets, and liaise with clients and suppliers, including on site visits and occasional out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Registered as an Architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
• Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
• Experience delivering projects in regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team producing technically sound architectural solutions to satisfy quality, cost and programme.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and documentation for scheme deliverables.
• Oversee junior staff and take responsibility for their actions.
• Manage project budgets and costs associated with deliverables.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives, attend progress meetings.
• Contribute to bids and work-winning activities.
• Occasional on-site work or full-time but temporary on-site roles; out-of-hours work as needed.
• Assume people-management responsibilities when required.
