Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd is recruiting a Senior Applications Support Officer to support a large public sector IT Operations team. You will provide specialist support for core business applications, supervise a small team, and ensure high-quality customer service in a housing repairs environment.

Initially you will travel to Bristol to collect equipment and complete induction, then work predominantly from home with occasional on-site sessions.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of One Advance DRS scheduling, NEC Housing repairs and NEC Go-Mobile.
• Proven background in application support, troubleshooting, configuration and issue resolution.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical information to non-technical users.
• Experience supervising or supporting development of team members.
• Ability to analyse data, identify root causes and recommend improvements.
• Experience in a public sector or housing repairs environment.
• Understanding of GDPR and secure application management.
• Experience coordinating system upgrades or working with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day supervision and workload management of an Application Support team (up to 10 officers).
• Provide specialist support for One Advance DRS, NEC Housing repairs and NEC Go-Mobile, including issue investigation and resolution.
• Manage and monitor the running of key IT applications, handling incidents and requests promptly.
• Oversee system upgrades, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to minimise disruption.
• Analyse performance data and system behaviour to identify trends and improvements.
• Ensure data quality, data security and compliance with GDPR and other requirements.
• Promote best practices in customer service and application support standards.
• Support development and continuous improvement of support policies and workflows.
