Job summary

Merit Data & Technology India seeks a Senior Manager to lead solution and consulting-led sales across the UK, EU and US. You will drive data & AI solutions in data harvesting, engineering, modernization and AI automations for enterprise and mid-market clients.

You will own the full sales lifecycle, build strong client relationships and collaborate with delivery and technical teams to craft compelling proposals and RFP responses. A proven, consultative selling track record is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience selling software (Data & AI solutions) services, solutions or consulting engagements.
• Experience in solution- or consulting-led selling across data/AI domains.

Responsibilities

• Own the full business development lifecycle from lead identification to negotiation, contracting and invoicing.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue growth targets.
• Generate recurring revenue contracts and build long-term client partnerships.
• Maintain an active CRM pipeline with accurate forecasting and disciplined updates.
• Conduct solution-focused client engagement—listening to client needs and presenting tailored data/AI solutions.
• Collaborate with internal delivery, consulting, and technical teams to design compelling proposals and RFP responses.
• Drive research and lead generation in target sectors with Inside Sales support.
• Build trusted client relationships through consistent, value-driven interactions (in person, virtual, written).
• Contribute to sales strategy sessions, pipeline reviews and go-to-market planning.
