Role Summary

Manage assurance, tax, and accounting engagements for local businesses and professionals. Lead client files, provide technical expertise in Canadian and international standards, supervise junior staff, and deliver hands‑on business advice.

Key Duties
  • Lead audit, review, and compilation assignments
  • Prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust tax returns with CanTax
  • Oversee client bookkeeping and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online
  • Ensure compliance with ASPE, IFRS, ASNFPO, and current tax laws
  • Mentor junior accountants and act as main client contact
  • Advise on cash flow, budgeting, and practice improvements
Requirements
  • CPA designation (or nearing completion)
  • 3+ years public practice experience
  • Proficient in CanTax, QuickBooks Online, CaseWare, Excel, Word
  • Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and IFRS
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with conversational Cantonese or Mandarin
