Job summary

Edutech in South Yorkshire seeks a 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to support and develop the IT infrastructure. You will work within IT Operations to design, implement and BAU manage complex systems, ensuring reliability, security and performance.

This hands-on role spans day-to-day support and end-to-end project delivery. You’ll join a high-performing team, collaborate across IT and business, and participate in on-call rotations while driving best-practice infrastructure delivery and

• Experience in a 3rd line enterprise IT infrastructure support/project team.
• Design and support of multiple technologies from the listed stack.
• Strong learning mindset and customer-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT infrastructure in an ITIL environment across incidents, changes and capacity.
• Manage hosting/operations, availability, backups, and DR planning.
• Collaborate with service desk and wider IT/business teams for effective infrastructure.
• Quickly learn new infrastructure tech and monitor external trends.
• Maintain SLA adherence for hosted systems.
• Act as technical authority in infrastructure with customer-facing duties.
• Deliver infrastructure projects and work packages on time and to quality.
