Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in the Greater London area is seeking a Senior 3rd Line Engineer to deliver advanced infrastructure support and manage complex projects for a diverse client base. The successful candidate will provide expert technical support across server infrastructure and cloud platforms, lead projects like server migrations, and mentor junior engineers. You'll contribute to strengthening client IT environments while enjoying ongoing training and a clear career progression path. The salary ranges from £50,000 to £60,000.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows Server environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Hands on experience with Hyper V or VMware.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure including virtual machines, identity, and storage.
• Knowledge of endpoint security tools such as Microsoft Defender or Sophos.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert level 3rd line support across server infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Lead infrastructure projects including server migrations and network upgrades.
• Design and deliver tailored IT solutions based on client needs.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical development within the team.
