Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP is seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Technician to help shape and secure our infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud platforms in the UK. You will own core services, drive improvements and lead projects for hybrid cloud adoption while collaborating with the Service Desk and technology partners.

You will be solving complex challenges, delivering practical solutions, documenting standards, and growing your technical leadership as Ridge scales its operations.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Experience with enterprise storage, SAN and networking.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and SCCM.
• Ability to plan changes with testing, change control and handover.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance core infrastructure services across servers, storage, virtualization, networking, identity, backup and cloud platforms.
• Investigate complex issues, identify root causes and implement long‑term solutions.
• Contribute to hybrid cloud adoption and automation initiatives.
• Strengthen platform security, resilience, monitoring, disaster recovery and lifecycle management.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards and procedures.
• Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects from design through handover.
• Work with Service Desk, suppliers and partners to deliver technology services.
