Job summary

Interface Recruitment is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support and develop the organisation’s IT systems across Windows Server, AD, Exchange and virtualization platforms. You will work within a busy North Leeds team, handling BAU and major projects whilst ensuring security and performance standards.

You will contribute to the upgrade of the IT estate, participate in on-call support, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust infrastructure solutions in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years’ commercial IT support experience (1st–3rd line).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Office 365/Azure.
• VMware virtualization administration and vSphere familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver systems and requirements in-line with IS strategy and objectives.
• Provide technical expert support to Head of Information Systems and business units.
• Maintain and document system procedures, changes and security policies.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain infrastructures and applications.
• Support users during business hours and on-call rota; log calls and ensure SLAs are met.
• Lead small to mid-scale IT projects from inception to production.
