Job summary

GK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled 3rd Line Engineer for a permanent role in the Liverpool area. You will join an expanding MSP, handling complex incidents, projects and client requirements with a focus on Microsoft technologies.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ MSP experience, strong Windows Server, AD, Exchange/O365 and virtualization know‑how. Driving license and excellent communication are essential for success in this client‑facing role.

Qualifications

• Min. 3–5 years’ experience as a 3rd line engineer with an MSP.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012/16/19, Exchange/O365 and AD.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper‑V and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain systems and networks to ensure uptime.
• Install/configure systems and diagnose hardware/software faults.
• Resolve issues via phone, email or in person; guide users through steps.
• Support updates/rollouts and manage multiple tickets per SLA.
• Foster strong client relationships and clear communications.
