Job summary

GK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team in Chorley. This hands-on role supports and maintains the company’s IT infrastructure while acting as escalation point for complex issues.

You will deliver infrastructure projects and help improve Microsoft technologies across the business, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and AD. The right candidate thrives in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting abilities (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line support across servers, networks and Microsoft technologies.
• Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and Active Directory.
• Administer VMware/Hyper-V environments.
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades and technology projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and identify service improvements.
