Job summary

A leading animation studio in the UK is seeking a passionate and experienced 3D FX Artist to work on various dynamic simulations. The role requires expertise in Houdini and Maya to create effects like water and fire. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong artistic abilities, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. The job also involves collaboration with the production team while adhering to tight schedules. This position is remote outside the M25, starting February 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience with dynamic simulations like Water, Fire, Smoke.
• Understanding of the entire visual effects process.
• Ability to work with tight schedules and multiple software packages.

Responsibilities

• Inform CG Supervisor and Head of FX of daily progress.
• Drive project team to meet schedule objectives.
• Contribute in Art Direct abstract or stylized effects.
