Job summary

SENse Learning is hiring Specialist Teachers in Luton to provide one-to-one support for SEND learners. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with in-person, hybrid, and remote options and flexible schedules.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years post-NQT experience, QTS/QTLS, and the ability to tailor lessons to individual needs across KS1–KS5. Self-employed status is expected with DBS and references. Apply now.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required or eligible.
• Ability to work in home, school, or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one tutoring and mentoring to SEND learners.
• Deliver trauma-informed, pupil-centred lessons across specified needs (SEMH/ SEND).
• Plan, adapt and report on lessons, progress, and outcomes.
