Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking a SEND Tutor to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND and SEMH, across specialist subjects. The role offers in-person, online/remote, and hybrid delivery with flexible scheduling in the UK.

You will build trauma-informed tutoring plans for KS1–KS5, report on progress, and collaborate with parents and schools. Required: QTS/QTLS, 2+ years post-NQT experience, enhanced DBS, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Ability to work in a child-centred, holistic way with trauma-informed approaches.
• Enhanced DBS check and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with the right to work; remote/online allowed.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with broad needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons with regular feedback on progress.
