  • Adapting activities and resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Encouraging independence, resilience and self-confidence.
  • Supporting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
  • Working closely with SENCOs, teachers and external professionals to ensure children receive the support they need.
Who We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from individuals who:

  • Have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
  • Are empathetic, patient and able to build positive relationships.
  • Can remain calm and adaptable in a variety of situations.
  • Understand the importance of consistency and routine for children with additional needs.
  • Are committed to helping every child achieve their best.
  • Have experience with SEND, behavioural support or intervention work (desirable but not essential).
Why Choose Protocol Education?

  • FREE CPD training through our online learning platform.
  • FREE Thrive training to enhance your SEND skillset.
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated local consultant.
  • Long-term, short-term and permanent opportunities available.
