Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is recruiting in Bristol for caring, patient individuals to support pupils with additional needs. The role involves working with students who have SEND, in one-to-one and small-group settings, to help them access learning and achieve goals.

We welcome applicants from backgrounds such as Teaching Assistant, Care, Support Worker or Youth Worker who are calm, resilient and capable of building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable adults.
  • Calm, patient and resilient demeanor.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and inspire confidence.
  • Willing to undertake safeguarding checks and training.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs.
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups with pupils.
  • Help pupils access learning and achieve their goals.
  • Build positive relationships to help children feel safe and supported.
  • Support emotional wellbeing, communication and social development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENDCOs and specialist staff.
